What was the situation before installing camera surveillance with Secury360?
I used to have 2-3 false alarms every week. It was always false alarms. In all those years, I didn't have a single burglary. But I did always get alarms. If it's in the evening, it has little or no impact, but if it keeps you awake at night, that's a different story.
When we took over Group Jennes, the wife of the previous manager wished my wife good luck for going through those false alarms. We experienced it first hand.
At some point we said we didn't want to continue like this. We got several concessions and false alarms about the most silly things. Think wind, ducks in the parking lot, reflections off a window and even a frozen window of a car that was just in a radius. You can't think of it crazy enough. It went absurdly far.
What steps have you taken to resolve this?
After a year, I contacted our installer, Van Saet. We decided that we needed to invest in camera surveillance. So we had cameras installed with the Secury360 boxes. A serious investment but well worth it.
We have recently had 1 false alarm after a very long time and that was about a beam going off. I see the installer very little today whereas I used to have weekly contact with the installer. There was always something. Now I hardly see the installer and that is positive.
How has Secury360 technology affected your life?
For me, the old situation was no longer acceptable. It was having a serious impact on my life. It sounds ridiculous, a false alarm.... But it's actually true. Since the installation, my wife is much happier.
