How did BetaGuard Solutions end up at Secury360?

We've known Secury360 for a while. We have been working for a client for years where there are multiple camera masts to quickly detect intruders. To increase the level of security, I contacted Frederick to integrate Secury360's AI on our existing camera masts. At that time, Secury360 had not yet developed the technology to detect on the moving camera images from our dome cameras. As a result, we did not move forward with Secury360 at that time, but I continued to follow them. Now, 2 years later, that possibility does exist. This is the first reason why we chose Secury360. You move very quickly with the technological evolution and the demands of the market.

What do you think of the collaboration with Secury360?

We very quickly made a follow-up appointment with Frederick after a demo and he was very quick to respond. So this is the second reason we partnered with Secury360, your proactivity.

What do you think of our solution compared to other AI solutions on the market?

For example, compared to other AI solutions, it is much easier to designate detection zones in the software. The interface with the control room also increases efficiency. BetaGuard Solutions is connected to Praxis' control room and they themselves are full of praise for Secury360. They are also requesting to work with Secury360 as a preferred partner.

The technology of some AI systems is more advanced, though. The AI is so extensive with some providers that it includes features that are really of no use (for example, you can set it to detect the neighbor's cat, but not your own). What is useful, however, is targeted vehicle detection, so that you only want to detect foreign license plates, for example. The car detection I would like to see integrated with Secury360, but I was told this was as good as done. For our customers (mostly construction sites) this certainly has added value.

How do you think the security market is still going to evolve in the coming years?

I have a long history in man monitoring and from the first year I was convinced that the combination of man monitoring and technology is often the ideal solution. That continues after more than 10 years. Manpower is becoming more expensive and scarce and crime is moving in the other direction. On top of that, access control is an essential part of an integrated security plan. I also see a requirement in the foreseeable future for every new construction project to provide security and access control.

And who knows, maybe in a few years there will be the possibility of securing your business with camera detection from space. Of course, it may not be cloudy, but we still live in Belgium.
